PERTH sensations Voyager have become the third Australian act to take out a ninth placing at the Eurovision song contest.

After getting through their Thursday semi-final ahead of Denmark, Greece and Iceland, the synth-metal band from Western Australia scored a highly respectable nine position in the Grand Final following the performance of their entry “Promise”. The result was announced at 7am Perth time. Swedish singer Loreen won for the second time, taking the country’s total wins to seven, equalling the record set by Ireland. Watch Voyager’s performance below and catch them on tour in June.
