TOUR annoucements keep mounting up and as we tryt to keep abreast of them, here’s another weekly look at what’s rolling through the country in the next weeks and months.

NEW York legends Winger are on their final lap of the globe and are making their way Down Under at last, to say farewell with their original line-up. Kip Winger, Reb Beach, Rod Morgenstein, Paul Taylor and John Roth will all be present for six evenings of virtuoso shred.

THE original dry lung vocal martyr Burton C Bell is coming to Australia in June for a series of intimate performances. The voice of Fear Factory, Ascension of the Watchers and City of Fire is doing four shows highlighting personal favourites from across his discography.

SWEDISH rockers The Night Flight Orchestra will touch down in May on their Moon Over Australia tour, landing in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for what should be some uplifting evenings of rock.

ROCK legend Phil Campbell will make his first tour in Australia with his new touring band in September. Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, featuring his sons Todd, Tyla and Dane and vocalist Joel Peters, will do five shows with tickets on sale from 27 February.

Author Brian Giffin

Brian Giffin is a metalhead, author, writer and broadcaster from the Blue Mountains in Australia. His life was changed forever after seeing a TV ad for 'The Number of the Beast' in 1982. During the 90s he wrote columns and reviews for Sydney publications On the Street, Rebel Razor, Loudmouth and Utopia Records' magazine. He was the creator and editor of the zine LOUD! which ran from 1996 until 2008, and of Loud Online that lasted from 2010 until 2023 when it unexpectedly spontaneously combusted into virtual ashes. His weekly community radio show The Annex has been going since 2003 on rbm.org.au. He enjoys heavy rock and most kinds of metal (except maybe symphonic power metal), whisk(e)y and beer.
