IN the wake of the tragic sudden passing of founding member and bass player Paul Woseen on Friday last week, The Screaming Jets have made an announcement with regards to their planned new album and tour.

The band revealed on Facebook that “after much consideration we have decided to fulfil all our upcoming touring and new album commitments, and to move forward in the way that we feel best honours our brother’s life and his music.”

They all wrote: “We are astounded but not surprised by the massive outpouring of love towards Paully we have received in the last few days. Your wishes, thoughts, memories and prayers are appreciated by all of us who loved him.”

A memorial service for Paul Woseen is being planned, with details to be revealed in the near future.
