THE Poor have rerecorded their 1994 hit “More Wine Waiter Please” with the Screaming Jets’ Dave Gleeson and Rose Tattoo’s Angry Anderson.
The tale of unquenchable thirst bought the Darwin rockets to national attention a generation ago and now Gleeson has added his distinct vox to the second verse and Anderson to the third for a special single release.
The breakdown where Skenie requests a libation has also been freshened up with Gleeson turning on his best southern English posh accent.
The Poor and Rose Tattoo are currently touring Australia together.
