THE Pretty Reckless, who found a new audience supporting AC/DC worldwide, have announced their fifth album.
Dear God will arrive via Fearless Records on June 26 and has been preceded by a single, “When I Wake Up”, which is out now. Catch the music video below.
While Amyl and the Sniffers supported Ackadacka in Australia, the Taylor Momsen-fronted Pretty Reckless were the back-up for Australia’s finest in most other territories and suffered for their art one famous occasion when Momsen was bitten by a bat.
“For I Am Death”, released as a single last, is included on the long-player.
In a media release, former actress Momsen, 32, was quoted as saying: “‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare, when a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…”
The Pretty Reckless’ two previous albums were 2010’s Light Me Up, 2014’s Going To Hell, 2016’s Who You Selling For and 2021’s Death By Rock’n’Roll.
