MIKE Tramp’s White Lion, a revival show for the 1980s band featuring its original singer and new musicians, is to tour Australia.
Tramp is currently taking the band through North America, having re-recorded fully electric versions of two album’s worth of material from White Lion, who emerged from the New York area during the second half of the eighties.
Tramp used to live in Tasmania but there is no room for the Apple Isle on the itinerary.
“It’s been a long time coming, but no more,” Denmark-born Tramp, 63, wrote. “I am once again returning to Australia, the country I called home for 10 years.”
Early bird tickets sold out at several venues almost immediately. The promoters are Silverback Touring.
