JIZZY Pearl’s Love/Hate is to tour Australia in January, making it the first Antipodean trek since the original band was formed in 1985.
Love/Hate’s celebrated 1990 debut album Blackout In The Red Room will be played in its entirety during the trek, which will feature shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Singer Pearl is the only surviving member of the line-up that recorded that album, with bassist Skid Rose, guitarist Jon E Love and drummer Joey Gold long gone.
Pearl’s current lineup is: guitarist Stevie Pearce, bassist Christian Kimmett, drummer Charles Evans and the singer himself, who released the well-received Punk Rock Fiesta! this year.
