BASSIST Lonnie Vencent has rejoined Bulletboys for the fourth time.
Vencent, 60, was an original member of the LA glamsters and rejoined in 2006, again in 2009 and in 2019. The band said on social media Vencent would be taking working with vocalist Marq Torien and drummer Fred Aching on a new album. The involvement of guitarist Jake Faun was not clear.
In an Instagram post depicting himself, Vencent and Aching, Torien wrote: “3 Real Badass Mothertruckers!!! 4realreal!!!! @fredachingdrums @lonnievencent @marqtorienofficial @bulletboys
“So it begins!!! 1st day of tracking for our New Album!!! It’s was a completely magical day!!
“So stoked to have the man who started this Band with me!!!
“Let me reintroduce you to … Mr. LONNIE VENCENT!!!”
Bulletboys reunions have been fraught with acrimony over the years – so much so that all the members aside from Torien once formed a band called Lies, Deceipt and Treachery.
A two year reunion also involving drummer Jimmy D’anda and guitarist Mick Sweda fell apart in in late 2021.
