LESS than two months before their last-ever show, KISS will return to Australia for a stadium finale.
Following the launch of petition to bring the iconic New York rockers back to Oz, the band announced overnight they would be playing Sydney’s 83,500-capacity Accor Stadium on October 7 – exactly a week after the NRL grand final at the same venue.
The band, which first toured Australia in 1980, had previously said its September-October 2022 tour would include its final shows Down Under.
Two weeks ago, promoters AEG Live launched a petition to bring the band back one more time.
The petition, which can be found HERE, does not show how many signatures it attracted.
KISS’s next scheduled date, in Plymouth UK, has been cancelled due to “travel, equipment and logistical complications”.
Tickets for the Sydney show go on sale on May 31.
KISS’s final show ever is scheduled for Madison Square Garden on December 2.
