IT’S official: AC/DC have powered up and will be returning to the stage in October.

The Indio, California Power Trip Festival has confirmed, as we reported that Ackadacka, Guns N’Roses, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Tool will play over three days from October 6.

It’s the same venue when AC/DC ended a six-year hiatus in 2015 and where Angus Young joined Guns N’Roses on stage in 2016.

Tickets go on sale on April 6 for the biggest hard rock and metal festival seen in North America for years.

AC/DC have not played live since September 20, 2016. There have been no shows in support of their current album, Power Up.

Singer Brian Johnson has not played live with the band since February 28, 2016. At that point, he left due to hearing difficulties, dates were postponed and Axl Rose stepped into vox duties.

Osbourne had retired due to illness but announced earlier this year he was reversing that decision.

Promoters Golden Voice previously stage a Big Four Festival featuring Metallica, Megadeth Slayer and Anthrax at the same venue in 2011.
