DONNIE Vie, the founding singer of Enuff Z’Nuff, has announced an extensive Australian tour in just two months.

Against a backdrop of other mid-level rock tours being postponed, cancelled or losing their support acts, 55-year-old Vie says he will play eight shows into July.

The cities he is due to visit are Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Geelong, Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne.

He will be joined by guitarist Alex Kane, the tour poster saying: “Donnie Vie is the original singer and founding member of Enuff Z’Nuff.

“Come and celebrate 25 albums and hear Donnie’s incredible story.”

Vie recently told Hot Metal (see video below) that he refused to give up his favourite things despite heath concerns and that he was ready to relaunch his solo career.

July 2: Mo’s Desert Clubhouse, Gold Coast

July 4: The Barwon Club, Geelong
