DAVE Gleeson’s recently discussed dance card just got fuller.
The Jets screamer and former Angels frontman has replaced Daryl Braithwaite in Aussie supergroup The Fabulous Caprettos, where he will join Jack Jones, Russell Morris and Rai Thistlethwayte.
It’s unclear if Gleeso will be required to sing “The Horses”.
The Fabulous Caprettos announced: “The news we’ve all been waiting for!
“We are pleased to announce Australian rock legend Dave Gleeson will join forces with Aria Hall of Famer and Multi award winner Russell Morris and music giants Jack Jones aka Irwin Thomas (Southern Sons), Rai Thistlewayte (Thirsty Merc/Joe Satriani) performing their biggest hits for what promises to be an extraordinary evening of music.”
Asked by a fan what had happened to Braithwaite, the band replied: “Not available for these dates”.
When he announced last month he was leaving The Angels, Gleeson said: “… as The Angels prepare to celebrate 50 years and The Screaming Jets to release our first studio album in six years.
“…which, along with my Triple M radio show will keep my dance card full!”
