THOSE cult heroes from the Rim Of Hell (via Denmark), D-A-D, are to return to Australia.
Metropolis Touring has announced a four-date trek for May, taking in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, for Jesper and Jacob Binzer, Stig Pedersen and Laust Sonne.
The “Sleeping My Day Away” rockers have previously only toured Australian twice – a short promotional trip in 1990 and a very successful visit 32 years later hitting the same capital cities as next year.
The band recently celebrated their 40th birthday at a sold out Copenhagen arena show and this will be a Greatest Hits tour. Says Pedersen – he of the two-stringed bass: ‘’Turning 40 as a band is in and of itself totally crazy. We are a social experiment!”
