BRENDAN Murphy of Canadian hardcore unit Counterparts has used Twitter to rip into the Australian arm of global booking and touring agency Live Nation, accusing the company of not paying them for their February tour with Architects.

According to Musicfeeds, Murphy’s attack on Live Nation has now drawn in indie rockers Camp Cope, nu-groovers Thornhill and Architects themselves, along with further allegations that the Hillsong-owned Festival Hall has withheld thousands in merchandise payments.

Murphy’s claim that Live Nation still hasn’t paid them their $60,000 tour fee has been refuted by the organisation, but backed up by Architects’ drummer Dan Searle, who also chimed in with a Tweet that his band hadn’t been paid either. Murphy also lashed out at Festival Hall, saying the venue owes them $7000 in merch sales. Thornhill claims Festival Hall owes them from the same tour.
