GUNS N’Roses frontman Axl Rose has launched his own website – leading to intense speculation among fans about how this reflects the iconic rocker’s plans.
The site carries the tagline “you gotta learn to live and run or you’ll die trying” and features an animated autograph of the 62-year-old as it loads. The news section links to stories at Rolling Stone and Classic Rock – not official GN’R channels.
And the bio is very concise: “Born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, Axl rose to fame as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of Guns N’ Roses, a band that rose to prominence in the late 1980s with their debut album Appetite for Destruction.”
Other Guns N’Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan are currently on tour with solo projects; the band does not have any dates booked for this year.
