WE are coming up on the first anniversary of KISS’ ‘final’ show at Madison Square Garden (read our review HERE) and it’s as certain as rock’n’rolling all nite following partying all day that questions will be asked as to whether the December 2 outing will actually be the last.
The Hottest Band In The World has sold its catalogue to PopHouse and announced its future lies in avatars but in a recent interview, Starchild Paul Stanley was asked about the possibility of future shows.
Stanley’s interview with the Daily Times was intended to promote an appearance related to his artwork in Delaware County but right at the bottom, journalist Michael Christopher raises the possibility of “a one-off show, be it a KISS Kruise expedition or even just getting together with his old bandmates for a few songs”.
The quote which follows from Stanley is: “Anything’s possible. KISS is so far from over, though KISS as we know it is done. But, having our hands and our ideas and our fingers in what KISS continues as makes all the sense in the world.
“So, I look forward to whatever comes next without knowing what comes next. But I’m open to it all.”
