AFTER three cancelled shows, KISS are back for the final few days of their career as a touring act.

There were fears for this Friday and Saturday night’s shows at Madison Square Garden, billed as their last ever in make-up and last as a stand-alone original band, when a bout of flu for Paul Stanley led to the cancelation of shows in Ottawa, Toronto and Knoxville.

“I’ve done everything possible to get onstage and be a part of the incredible two and a half hour celebration planned but this flu has made it impossible,” vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stanley said on social media.

“I along with Gene, Tommy and Eric couldn’t be more disappointed and send our deepest apologies.”

But on Monday night at Chicago’s AllState Arena, the show went on … with a 23-song set. Next it’s Baltimore and then the Hottest Band In The World rolls into their home town for the last time.

The future may involve multiple versions of the band based all over the world, with interchangeable musicians.

Hot Metal’s Steve Mascord will be at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night for the end of the End Of The Road.
