Ace Frehley threatens Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley with the release of “dirt”

ACE Frehley has conducted an incendiary radio interview in which he threatened to release “dirt” about Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley unless Stanley issues a public apology.

Frehley is upset at comments about him made by Stanley in another radio interview four weeks ago. When asked by Howard Stern why KISS would not play with original members Frehley and Peter Criss at the Rock’N’Roll Hall Of Fame, Stanley answered: “Because if you saw people onstage who looked like KISS but sounded like that, maybe we should be called Piss.”

“I’m going to make a statement to Paul Stanley right now,” Frehley told Sirius XM.

“I’m telling you I want a formal apology for what you said. A retraction and an apology within seven days.

“And if I don’t get that, within seven days I’m coming back on Ed Trunk’s show – Ed, if you’ll have me – and I’m going to tell some dirt that nobody knows about Paul and Gene, that I’ve always kept to myself.

“Because I’m the type of guy that doesn’t talk about it. I like to talk about the positive stuff.

“I have a 120-page manuscript that I wrote after I finished my book that my attorney has in a safety deposit box.

“God help if anything happens to me, my attorney is instructed to release it to the New York Times, Rolling Stone, API, everybody. So they can’t intimidate me with trying to hurt me or saying ‘you better not say anything about me live on the radio,’ because then they’re totally screwed. Their careers will be ruined.

“Those guys aren’t squeaky clean. You know how many lawsuits girls have had against Gene?”

Frehley also said he doubted if he would be involved in KISS’s upcoming final shows.
