A week out from AC/DC’s historic return to Buenos Aires, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young has been hospitalised after complaining of ill health.

The 69-year old is reportedly in good spirits after under going a raft of tests in the Argentinian capital’s Sanatorio Mater Dei hospital and is expected to perform with the band when AC/DC makes its first live appearance in the country in 17 years.

Stevie was chosen as  his uncle Malcolm’s replacement in AC/DC in 2014, when the senior Young was no longer able to continue with the band due to the health issues that finally claimed him in 2017.

AC/DC will play three shows at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires next week.
