SPECULATION about AC/DC touring North America next year has reached fever pitch after the date of a concert in Minneapolis seemingly leaked by accident.
On Monday a Facebook event was posted which purported to be Ackadacka at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on April 11 next year. It was quickly removed. More intriguingly, the post said that tickets would go on sale this Friday, November 15.
AC/DC’s most recent show was August 17 at Croke Park in Dublin. Their last US show was the Power Trip Festival in Indio, California, on October 7 2023.
The line-up for the show will be interesting with drummer Phil Rudd recently expressing an interest in returning after acting as a carer for a terminally ill friend in New Zealand. The incumbent drummer is American Matt Laug.
And there was speculation before the recent European tour that Guns N’Roses bassist Duff McKagan would take the place of Chris Chaney if the trek reached North America.
